Phil: I taught with Danny in South Korea at a university and we became great friends. We had great laughs, especially at his legendary mimicry skills. We kept in frequent contact and met up regularly, I was so happy that he had found true love and stability with Lily. She brought him such happiness, stability and peace! He was always so generous with me and helped me in any way he could. Thank you, Danny. A good man and an excellent friend! I will remember and cherish the good times, mate! I will remember you with a big smile on your face.

Danny, you brilliant, genuine soul, so saddened by your passing all too soon.  I am remembering our exchange trip to Germany, you were always so cheerful and kind, with a side of great humour, nothing seemed to phase you. There was never a truer companion to have shared this experience with and such treasured memories all the way back to Kindergarten. I was truely touched at your recent efforts to reconnect our class, a reunion that sadly could not happen. My love goes out to Danny’s wife, and his family. Living in Bangor, in our late teens Danny was one of my best friends. He had such a big heart and was also a great character. We partied at weekends, went to Tenerife after our A-Levels & as a big group of friends just had so much fun. I feel blessed that I was in contact with Danny during his last week. When I think of him I smile and often laugh at what we got up to. I am truly honored to have been his friend. Forever young Dan, love Paula.
